What Do I Get For My ÂŁ199

Daily Price Check

We check our prices daily to make sure you’re always getting fair value.
Over 95 percent of our cars are listed as Good Price or Fair Price on Auto Trader, and we keep it that way.

Auto Trader doesn’t see the work that goes on behind the scenes, the service, the MOT, the inspection, and the warranty cover, but you do, that’s where Culloden Cars stands out.

Our cars are priced competitively, often cheaper than main dealers or supermarkets, and every car is prepared to a higher standard.


Warranty

Every Culloden car includes proper nationwide warranty cover from Momentum and Warranty Administration Services, two of the most trusted providers in the UK.

Most claims are approved and paid the same day, and if your car ever needs attention, and you take it back to us, we’ll handle everything directly through our own team at Top Car Services.

You’ll get a minimum of 3 months’ warranty and breakdown cover, and if your car is over 8 years old or has more than 90,000 miles, we’ll upgrade that automatically to 12 months’ cover, included in the package.

Repairs are usually carried out by our team at Top Car Services in inverness but in certain circumstances, this can be carried out Nationwide by a garage as long as they are VAT Registered


Service And MOT

Every Culloden car is serviced to a very high standard and comes with a new MOT completed by us, the car will have no less than 10 months remaining on the MOT.
If the car has been MOT’d elsewhere before arriving into stock, we do it again because we’d rather our own testers inspect it properly.

You’ll receive copies of the service and MOT, battery health report, diagnostic report, and Multi Point checklist in your handover pack.


MOT Advisory Notes

Every Culloden car leaves with a clean MOT, no advisories, no “I’ll need to keep an eye on that next year” conversations.
If something needs attention, we fix it before you collect the car.

That’s one less thing to worry about and one more reason to buy with confidence.


MotorCheck – Vehicle History Report

We take care of the vehicle history report on your new car as a matter of course, and we also history check your part exchange, if you have one, at our expense, typically in the region of ÂŁ10 to ÂŁ15. You do not need to HPI a car you are purchasing from us. When we purchase cars, we think the same way as our customers and we are very picky about our stock, we look at service history, number of owners, overall condition, and, most importantly, mileage checks and full history verification, which we also pay for. If you would like a copy of the report, please ask and we will be happy to provide you with one.


Finance

We do a great deal of work behind the scenes with our partner finance providers, from negotiating excellent rates to adding new lenders we believe offer real value to our customers.

All finance is arranged in house, including identification checks and full completion of your agreement from start to finish.

We’ll also settle any existing finance on your part exchange, usually within three working days, so you don’t have to lift a finger.

A ÂŁ399 fee applies to customers using an outside finance broker that pays funds directly to Culloden Cars.


Manufacturer Recalls

Before any car is advertised or handed over, we check directly with the manufacturer for any outstanding recalls.
If a recall exists, we have it completed before the sale.

Every Culloden car leaves fully up to date and recall free, so you can drive away knowing it’s safe and current.


Culloden Road Test

Every car is road tested by our technicians before its service and MOT.
They take it on a set route covering town and dual carriageways to ensure it drives smoothly, handles well, and feels right.

If something isn’t perfect, it’s sorted before you ever see it.


Top Car Services Workshop

All preparation work is carried out by our own team at Top Car Services, our purpose built MOT and service centre on Harbour Road in Inverness.

Our technicians are fully qualified, EV and hybrid trained, and use dealer level diagnostic systems, Autel, OSCA, Launch, and ODIS, the same technology used by Volkswagen and Audi.

Owning our own workshop means full control, consistent standards, no delays, and no cutting corners, your car is prepared and maintained by the same team who look after hundreds of retail service customers every month.


Quality Parts

We only use high quality, trusted parts that meet or exceed manufacturer standards, every part we fit is covered by a 12 month guarantee.

We work with brands like Bosch, Pagid, Brembo, NGK, Mann Filters, and use Comma and Shell and various other brand oils across all models.

Whether it’s a small hatchback or a high performance car, every Culloden car receives the same quality components and attention to detail.


Culloden Cars Multi Point Inspection

Every vehicle goes through our 180 point Multi Point Inspection carried out by the Top Car Services team.

We check all major components, gearbox, clutch, brakes, suspension, steering, and electrical systems.

You’ll receive a full printed report, plus diagnostic and battery health checks, and invoices for all parts and labour used during preparation.

That’s transparency you won’t find elsewhere.


Fuel For Your First Journey

Before collection, we’ll always add some fuel so your first drive isn’t a dash to the petrol station or that horrible feeling that the light is on.
Most cars we purchase arrive near empty, so we make sure yours leaves with a safe range of at least 30 to 60 miles.


Registration Documents & Change Of Ownership

Before you leave, we register your new vehicle with the DVLA online, the new V5 normally arrives within 5 working days.

Sometimes we complete and post V5 documents ourselves using recorded delivery, which allows us to track and ensure safe arrival.

We also help you tax your car before you drive away, so you’re fully road legal the moment you leave the forecourt.


Stay The Night On Us

If you’re travelling more than 150 miles to collect your car, you can stay the night on us at the lovely Leonardo Hotel on Millburn Road completely free of charge.
You’ll also have full use of the gym, spa, and leisure facilities. The hotel is just a few miles from the dealership and half a mile from Inverness city centre. We would pick you up on the day of the handover if you don’t have a part exchange.


Airport & Train Luxury Transfers

If you’re arriving via Inverness Airport or Inverness Train or Bus Station, we’ll pick you up in one of our luxury vehicles.
Just let us know your arrival time and we’ll arrange your private chauffeur service.


Number Plates

Every Culloden car comes with brand new number plates fitted before handover.
If you’re transferring a private registration, we’ll handle the DVLA online transfer and fit your new plates for free.

We can also supply 4D plates at a discounted rate if you’d like to personalise your car further.


Premium Valet

Presentation matters to us here at Culloden Cars.
Each car is fully detailed in house using premium products from Rupes, Zvizzer, and Koch Chemie to achieve a true showroom finish.

The paintwork is polished, the interior is steam cleaned, and every surface is finished to our high standards.

We don’t outsource valeting, it’s all done by our own detailing team.

We also offer discounted ceramic coating, speak to your sales consultant for details.


Diamondbrite Ceramic Coat Administration

If you choose to have your paintwork protected with our market leading Diamondbrite Ceramic Coat, we’ll also handle the lifetime warranty and any claims for as long as you own the car.


Catalyst Training & Compliance

With help from our partners at Catalyst, we maintain strong compliance procedures for all finance products and stay current with FCA regulations.

All sales staff complete SAF training and certification through the Finance and Leasing Association, FLA, ensuring they can help you choose the right finance product.

Here’s what that means in practice,

Courtesy Car

If your car develops an issue within the warranty period, we can help, we have three courtesy cars that we can supply completely free of charge, subject to availability and insurance eligibility, meaning you are not inconvenienced in any way.
The courtesy cars are normally charged to customers at a cost of ÂŁ20 plus VAT per day, but are free of charge to anyone who has purchased a car from us.

Processing Warranty Claims

Our internal warranty team handles claims quickly and efficiently, we have automatic authorisation up to £500, so there’s no waiting for external assessors.
We also take care of all the paperwork, so there’s no money to hand over and no chasing for payments.

Warranty Excess Charge

Like car insurance, warranty companies charge an excess whenever a customer makes a claim, our warranty company charge ÂŁ30 excess, meaning customers are usually responsible for the first ÂŁ30 of any claim.
As part of our Culloden Commitment we will pay the warranty excess, regardless of where you are located in the UK or whichever garage you choose to complete the repairs.

Repair Payment Assist

What happens if a dreaded warning light pops on when your warranty has expired, what about an unexpected repair charge following an MOT, our Service Support customers can exclusively benefit from our partnership with Bumper and take the fear out of motoring.
You can spread the cost of repairs over 6 manageable payments, or 6 months, subject to the first payment upfront, it’s all arranged quickly and easily by Top Car Services, there’s a soft credit check that leaves no financial footprint on your profile.

Winter Tyre Swap

Many of our customers like to swap over to winter tyres to cope with the wintery conditions on our roads, especially those driving powerful or rear wheel drive cars, our Service Support customers will have the wheels or tyres swapped over to their own winter tyres, and back to all season again as many times as they like.
