Damian Kurczyk
Vehicle Preparation Manager
Damian is a big part of the reason cars leave Culloden Cars looking the way they do.
As Vehicle Preparation Manager, he oversees the valeting and detailing side of the business, but it goes beyond just getting cars clean. His role sits right at the point where standards are either met - missed.
And for him, there’s not much middle ground.
Every car that comes through Culloden Cars goes through a full preparation process, and Damian is the one making sure that standard is applied properly, every time. No rushing it through, no cutting corners because something else is waiting. If it needs done, it gets done.
And that mindset not only comes from the way he works, but also from where he’s come from.
Originally from Poland, he’s been in Scotland for over a decade, working across warehouse roles, lab work and even a spell in cheese production before ending up where he always wanted to be, working with cars. Different environments, but the same thread running through them: process, consistency and attention to detail.
But for Damian, what he enjoys most is the transformation. Taking a car as it arrives and seeing it leave exactly as it should.
From: Poland
Dream car: Audi RSQ8, with Eleanor in the garage for good measure
One thing people might not expect: He’s into Munros, photography and cooking in a fairly serious way
Favourite part of the job: Seeing the transformation from arrival to showroom finish
